Meta Tag is a special HTML tag that provides useful information about a website or blog. Although it's a HTML tag but its functions doesn't affect your website's appearance. It's a small handy but useful codes which contains information about the website. It also contains keywords about the website's content. This is a must by most search engines in order to get your website indexed.
Submitting your website to search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing will require to put the meta tag provided to complete your submission request. How to install these tags?

And the two must-do META tags on Blogger:
1. Blog's description. Only edit the red text.
<b:include data='blog' name='all-head-content'/>
<meta content=' [Add you blog's description here]' name='description'/>
<meta content=' [Add here the keywords related to your blog]' name='keywords'/>
<meta content=' [Blog's author]' name='author'/>
2. Post's description. This is necessary so that when search engines crawls your website, it will automatically indexed you posts.
<b:if cond='data:blog.url == "[Your Post's URL]"'>
<meta content='[You Post's Title]'/>
<meta content='[Keywords related to you post]' name='keywords'/> </b:if>
Lastly, ping your blog whenever there's an update. It will force search engines to crawl your website and update their indices.
By default, Blogger posts isn't SEO friendly at all. You will observe when viewing your article, the title header of your article is in this format: Blogname - Title. When search engines crawls for keywords, it will go first check your blog name instead of the post's title. The downside effect of this is that it will let you lose search engine rankings.
Here's the tweak how to make your blog posts a search engine friendly.
1. Login to your account. Go to Layout >> Edit HTML

2. Search for this tag <title><data:blog.pageTitle/>
3. And replaced it with this:
4. Save your template.
There's no guarantee that this will bring you on top of search results but having a SEO friendly blog have a greater chance of getting on top.

Blogger Standalone Pages is one of the useful section that has been ignored or probably not explored by many. And unlike your blog posts, pages doesn't include the dates it was created making its URL longer.
Here are some of the useful lists on how you can utilize pages in your blog.
1. You can assign significant page to your blog's important section like: "About Us", "Disclaimer", Policies and others.
2. You can also use this to create a "Contact Us" form, And of course, this form is always paired with a "Thank You" page. I will have a separate post on this to further elaborate its usage.
Where can we find this on Blogger?
1. Login to your account and click on "Edit Posts".

2. And then click on "Edit Pages"

You will also be having the same tools as that of making new articles.
Although Blogger only allows us to create only 10 Standalone Pages, but having this great feature is already a big plus helping us realize that there's still more to it than just having to post articles.
I happen to stumble upon a certain forum wherein there are a lot of active members and as well as active users who have benefited from this service. And yes, this is possible. Owners of Prepaid USB Broadband modems like Globe Tattoo and SmartBro are able to enjoy free internet services even without having to load certain amount to their respective modems. I don't know how our local mobile networks sees this but these things is a sure revenue drain on their part. Have they taken action on this? Who cares anyway? I am not affiliated to any of them. I am just sharing my thoughts letting everyone know that there really is such a thing as FREE and Unlimited Browsing. So how can we have FREE internet access?
Just for the sake of curiosity, I myself have tried this one out. You only need some tunneling software/s that can dig into your network's backdoor to get connected. The one that I've tried offers demo/trial account. Upgrading to premium accounts will give you unlimited internet throughout the month cheaper than the amount of load you spend daily. You could just imagine a 50-100kbps/sec download rate. You will surely be tempted to get a premium account. The irony - they're making money using you mobile network's facilities. But then again, who cares? I cared a bit. I care a bit that I am not going to get into the details in respect to our local mobile network giants.
I think the same is true with other countries offering prepaid mobile internet. Bottom line is, it's good that we can all have the chance to enjoy this "FREE" thing not offered by our local mobile network, but it's still better to be true to ourselves to just be kind and honest individual.

kOrAb's Tech Blog is now sporting its new look. We tried to make it simpler this time but we will also try to maintain good quality contents that can benefit anyone especially to a noobie blogger like me. More sections will also be added so just come back more often.
We are still undergoing review of the new layout. Let us know if you've observe some broken links or something that might require adjustments or help us improve further. You may use our Contact Us form or shoot us an email @ korabtech@gmail.com.
Well, here the three things we will notice with the new look.
1. On the upper left, you will see three new icons namely: Friends Requests, Messages and Notifications. Those icons will be highlighted with the number of new items in it in red. So if you have 10 messages and 5 new requests, those numbers will be in red on top of those icons. A sure attraction grabber when you log in to your account.
2. Underneath it is being populated with the initial list of online friends, your commonly used applications, and links to your messages, friends request and more.
These are just some of the minor changes but will bring to a new experience in connecting through friends.
I've been asked several times regarding this. And to be exact, my cousin is the 7th person to ask me how to get this done. So instead of just giving them stressful instructions, I would just rather refer them to visit my blog. Not to mention that most of them who have asked this trick are still novice to computer workarounds. So you could just imagine how stressful it would be especially giving the instructions through chat or phone.
Well anyway, as of this writing, my cousin is impatiently waiting for this post to be available online. I will be demonstrating examples on how to do it on MS Word but the same applies to Excel and Powerpoint or just some slight differences.
Important notes:
First thing first, we probably have to identify if the document we want to protect is new or an existing one. You may proceed with the instructions if this is a new document. Otherwise, we are going to save another protected copy of the document and delete the unprotected ones.
So here it is:
1. On the upper left, click on the MS Office logo. the choose "Save" for the unsaved document and "Save As" for the existing document.

2. Either "Save" or "Save As", it will still let you proceed to the same Save Window. Beside the "Save" button, click on Tools >> General Options.

3. Another window will pop with some of the security options to choose from.

4. Now choose your preference. You can either set a password to open or modify. Or even a combination of both. Read-only option is also available. Just tick on it.
5. Click OK >> Save for the unsaved document. For the existing document, choose another filename before clicking on the Save button.
6. Lastly for the existing document, delete the old unsecured file.
Shoot me a comment if you're having problem following the instructions.

Or at least we wanted our readers to stay longer and let them keep reading your posts. I found this old but still very useful widgets from Widgets For Free. It's called Related Post Widget For Blogger.
I am re-posting it here because I've added some tweak that might apply on you end.
How to install this widget?
- In your Blogger Dashboard, go to Layout >Edit HTML .
- Backup your existing templates.
- Check the "Expand Widget Templates" box.
- Search for the tag.
- Insert the following code before the </head> tag.
- Now search for <data:post.body/>.
- Add the following code beneath it.
Customizable settings:
- To change the width of the widget to fit into your post's body, search for width : 540px; located on the first sets of code. Play around with the value that best fits your post's body.
- To limit the number or related posts to be displayed, search for width : 540px; found on the second sets of code. Change the value according to your preference.
There's actually no hacking stuffs here. I'll just be sharing with how to access those unsecured cams which are being connected to the internet. They can be viewed anywhere around the Globe where internet access is not an issue. The best part here is that, you only have to use your internet browsers to access these cams. Search through Google using these strings:
